Q: WHAT MAKES YOUR WORK DIFFERENT FROM OTHER PHOTOGRAPHERS’ WORK?
A: Each photographer has their own unique perspective, particularly for weddings. My perspective allows me to see the details and the joy in small moments, and my work reflects that. I do everything in my power to make sure you’re relaxed and comfortable so I can create natural and authentic portraits.
Q: WILL WE GET THE PRINT RELEASE TO OUR PHOTOGRAPHS AFTER OUR WEDDING?
A: Yes! Upon receiving your images, you will also get a full print release.
Q: HOW MANY PHOTOGRAPHERS WILL BE THERE AT OUR WEDDING?
A: Most of my wedding collections come with one photographer, me! You’re always welcome to add on a second photographer for an additional cost, I only work with trusted photographers I’ve worked with before and who have a similar style to myself.
Q: WHEN WILL WE RECEIVE THE PHOTOGRAPHS?
A: You’ll get your full wedding gallery within 6 weeks and a sneak peek on facebook within 2! These images will be high-resolution and edited, and you’ll receive social media copies to share.
Q: DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH ELOPEMENTS?
A: Of course! Depending on availability and the number of hours you have set aside for photography, let me know your plans and I can create a custom package for you.
Q: DO YOU HAVE A BACKUP PHOTOGRAPHER TO SHOOT THE WEDDING?
A: I do! In my career I’ve never missed a wedding, and I take that commitment very seriously. However, if I were to become hospitalized or incapable of photographing, I have a network of colleagues to contact.
Q: WE'RE HAVING A DESTINATION WEDDING, DO YOU TRAVEL?
A: Yes! I love destination weddings and have been lucky enough to travel all over the world photographing weddings. Send me more information on your travel plans, and I’ll create a custom wedding collection to suit your needs!
Q: DO I HAVE TO ORDER PRINTS THROUGH YOU?
A: I highly recommend ordering prints through myself, but it is not required. I can only promise the best results through me, but if you’d like to print yourself, after personally comparing consumer labs extensively, I recommend mpix.com and Costco.
Q: WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?
A: I photograph with a Sony A7III and a Canon 5D Mark IV, and an assortment of lenses and lighting equipment, among other items. All of my cameras and lenses carry insurance and a backup in the rare event that anything should happen. I choose equipment that helps me create the images I love, for example my favorite lens is the 70-200, because the compression it creates at 200mm makes a stunning background in portraits and is part of my personal style.
Q: ARE THE COUPLES ON YOUR SITE MODELS?
A: I’m sure they’d love to hear you say that! While I am lucky enough to work with gorgeous couples, the images on my website and blog are of regular, paying clients.
Q: HOW DO WE RESERVE OUR WEDDING DATE?
A: A $500 deposit and signed contract is required to reserve your wedding day on the calendar. One week prior to your wedding, the remainder of the balance is due.
